DAPA (For Bus Driver & Passenger Assistants)

D1 DRIVER TRAINING
The Organisation provides Driver Training and Test Preparation including Practical CPC Test for people wishing to acquire a ‘D1’ Category Licence. This licence entitles a person to drive a Mini-Bus with a seating capacity of sixteen people plus the Driver. The training vehicle is provided to the learner. DRIVER CPC
Local Link Cork is an approved training centre to deliver the Driver CPC training as set out by the Road Safety Authority (RSA). This training is an EU Directive, and it is compulsory for all professional Bus and Truck Drivers. Bantry Rural Transport Partnership Ltd T/a Local Link Cork is a Registered Charity and a not-for-profit Company. All proceeds from Driver CPC training (or any other training) are reinvested in the Organisation and go towards providing community transport services.
